What the calculators do with your entries
Nothing leaves your browser. The calculators run on your device; your entries are not sent to us. When you get a result, your entries are added to the page address so you can share or bookmark it. Anyone you send that link to can see them.
Analytics
With your consent where the law requires it (EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, judged by your browser’s time zone), we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which tools are used. It sets cookies and receives your IP address, browser details and the pages you visit. We turn off Google signals and ad personalization. Elsewhere, Analytics loads unless you opt out. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage, key tkc_consent).
Affiliate links
Some results link to Amazon. If you click one, Amazon may set its own cookies to credit the referral; Amazon’s privacy notice applies on its site. We receive commission reports, not your personal details.
Hosting and security
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
Legal bases
Consent for analytics cookies; legitimate interests for running, securing and improving the site and for affiliate attribution; legal obligation where the law requires us to keep or disclose data.
Transfers and retention
Google, Amazon and Cloudflare may process data outside the EEA under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to processing, ask for portability and withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee) or your local authority. US residents can ask what we collect, ask us to delete it, and opt out of any sale or sharing: we don’t sell personal information. Email [email protected].
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 16 and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
